An Intimate Cabin Elopement // Scottie and Mandy

Before I get into it, let me introduce myself!

My name is Paige and I am a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Austin, Texas! My husband and I actually just relocated since my husband is on a year long tour out of the country. We met in college at the Air Force Academy where he played basketball and I watched in the stands obsessing over how freakin cool he is. I am not lying when I tell you I have had many years of hype team practice. I played soccer for most of my life, but ended up injured and washed up pretty quickly into college. My Air Force days are now over and I have decided to go full time into photography! Now let’s get into Scottie and Mandy’s intimate cabin elopement!

Scottie and Mandy’s Elopement

Elopements are one of my favorite types of photoshoots because of all the adventure that comes with them! Eloping has many reasons for being one of the best and most intimate ways to show your love for one another and they happen at the most beautiful locations. In this blog, I am going to share a gorgeous and intimate cabin elopement that took place in Palm Springs.

Mandy contacted me to capture their gorgeous and intimate cabin elopement, of course, I had to say yes!! Everything about this elopement was beautiful and whimsical. Sprig and Spring created this gorgeous flower arch that was filled with amazing, colorful spring flowers. My absolute favorite part about their elopement was when we had all gone inside of the cabin, and Scottie and Mandy were snuggling on the couch. The moment was so authentic with no one else around, so you know I had to capture it!

Being an elopement photographer, you come to learn that no two elopements are the same! They may sometimes have the same timeline, but each moment from getting ready to the after party is so different so being able to adapt to my couples is crucial. After Mandy had her hair and makeup done, just seeing how genuinely happy and beautiful she felt made my entire day!
